The “Architects’ Darling Swiss Edition 2018” award ceremony took place for the first time in Zurich. Architects selected their favourite construction product manufacturers across 20 different categories and the winners each received one of the coveted trophies. Sto AG in Switzerland won Silver in the Facade category and Bronze for Wall Coverings and Flooring.
Which manufacturers do architects most enjoy working with in Switzerland? Who has the best solutions and products in various trades and building sectors? Who are the leaders in the areas of innovation, design, sustainability, energy efficiency, customer service, and support? These questions formed the basis of the Architects’ Darling Swiss Edition 2018 opinion poll, which was carried out by Docu Media Schweiz GmbH between September 2017 and January 2018. 402 questionnaires were completed and evaluated. In total, 82 construction product manufacturers were eligible for selection. The independent survey was initiated by the Swiss Building Documentary Service. The coveted Gold awards were presented to 20 manufacturers in 15 product areas and five interdisciplinary categories. Architects’ Darling Swiss Edition 2018 is an award ceremony which honours the marketing performance of the winning companies.
