From Utrecht to Munich to Kortrijk, the past week has been packed with innovation, inspiration, and incredible conversations!
From 7 to 8 May, 2025, our Sto colleagues from Sto Netherlands attended the Future Facade in Utrecht. The response from the visitors to our updated StoTherm Wood system was extremely positive and our the StoModulite system attracted a lot of attention and was a real highlight. We are very pleased that our developments attracted so much interest.
Also their collaboration with CLT Factory proved to be a perfect match. Together, they showcased a CLT subconstruction combined with StoModulite with StoCleyer B, StoEcoshape and ReSpyre on the exterior. This setup was featured in the Maze of Innovations, curated by TU Darmstadt and TU Delft. Additionally, we are proud to share that, we even won the Marketing Award for the second time, which is a great honor.

At the same time, from 7 to 9 May, Sto Germany participated at the Intersolar in Munich – the world's leading trade fair for the solar industry with nearly 1,500 exhibitors. As a co-exhibitor at the booth of the Austrian PV module manufacturer Sonnenkraft, we presented the StoVentec Photovoltaics Inlay system.
This building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) solution was in high demand for both new constructions and renovations. The technically and legally thoroughly tested system, which offers a variety of design options in combination with other materials, garnered great interest among planners, builders, and solar installers.
We’re grateful for the many inspiring conversations and look forward to exploring future collaborations

From 15 to 16 May, our Sto collegues from Belgium had the opportunity to participate in Architect@Work in Kortrijk, marking our first time showcasing a product, that is not yet on the Belgian market — the StoVentec Photovoltaics Inlay system.
“We used this event as a market research platform to explore the potential for the StoVentec Photovoltaics Inlay system in our market”, said Sven Lievens, Head of Marketing Belgium. “This approach was new for us, and while we are still evaluating its effectiveness, we can confidently say, that these two days were incredibly valuable”.
Our colleagues Wouter Otter and Damiano Loparco had engaging discussions with architects and industry professionals, gaining important insights and feedback. They shared, that it was a great experience to introduce this innovative product in such a setting and it sparked many interesting conversations about future possibilities.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience to connect with professionals and explore future possibilities. We’re grateful for all the interactions and look forward to analyzing the insights gained.
